Whitmoor common is quite local to where we live, we walk our two labradors (Honey & Milo) there most days as it's so convenient and quite a varied walk. We usually use the carpark on Saltbox Road (between the A322 and A320), but occasionally park by the Jolly Farmer which is another access point for the common. Parking by the Jolly Farmer I might add can also be a great excuse for a *ahem* soft drink in the pub garden, giving us all a well earned rest before heading home.
The children enjoy the walk as much as we do, they love to climb the occasional tree in the wooded area, and the dogs absolutely LOVE playing in the pond that is slightly hidden away in a pocket of the common (closer to the Jolly Farmer area).
